What is Artemax, and what makes it different?
Artemax creates impactful art for distinctive interiors.
Each piece begins with the essence of real-world objects, viewed in a different light. Through digital composition, color, scale, and framing, Artemax turns familiar forms into artwork that feels specific, elevated, and considered within the room.
The work is made for people and spaces that want more than generic wall décor. Artemax offers affordable fine art with the presence of a finished design object: composed with intention, printed on heavyweight museum-quality canvas, set in a substantial float frame, and delivered ready to hang.
The result is art that can complete a home, shape a commercial interior, or give a hospitality space a stronger visual identity. Artemax exists to make refined, fully finished artwork more attainable without making it feel ordinary.
Are Artemax pieces originals or fine art prints?
Most Artemax pieces are fine art canvas works created from original digital compositions.
Each work is produced as a finished art object: printed on canvas, framed, and prepared to hang. Artemax releases are intentionally evolving.
Some pieces may remain available for an extended period, while others may be retired after reaching a certain internal threshold.
When a work is retired, it leaves the active collection and is no longer offered for purchase unless otherwise stated.
How are Artemax pieces produced?
Each Artemax canvas is made to order as a finished fine art object.
The artwork is printed on heavyweight matte museum-quality canvas using pigment-based archival inks, then stretched, float-framed, and prepared for installation. We use a matte canvas finish because it gives the work a softer, more refined surface with less glare, allowing the color, composition, and detail to hold the room without a glossy sheen.
A wire hanger is installed on the back, and felt pads are added to help protect the wall. Every piece is inspected before shipment. The result is not a loose print or unfinished canvas, but a complete artwork built for long-term interior display.
What frame options are available?
Artemax pieces are finished in clean, substantial floater frames designed to give each canvas a complete, architectural presence on the wall.
Six finishes are available at checkout. The Natural finish is the only solid wood frame in the collection, featuring a warm, authentic grain. The remaining five finishes are high-density composite frames with a smooth, consistent finish.
Frame depth refers to how far the finished framed piece projects from the wall.
Depth measurements:
White: 2 ⅜"
Natural: 1 ⅞"
Gold: 2"
Silver: 2"
Black: 2"
Walnut: 2"
Each frame is selected for a sturdy, finished presentation that feels more substantial than a standard canvas float frame. The floater design leaves a small reveal between the canvas and the frame, creating depth, shadow, and a museum gallery-style finish.
All frames arrive fully assembled with hanging wire and wall-protection felt pads included, ready to hang straight out of the box.
What sizes are available?
Artemax offers selected square and rectangular formats, with sizes varying by artwork and composition.
Square works are available up to 54 × 54 inches.
Rectangular works are available up to 54 × 76 inches.
Larger custom sizes may be available by inquiry. For oversized pieces, commercial projects, hospitality spaces, or site-specific installations, contact Artemax with the artwork, desired dimensions, delivery location, and project timeline.
Some compositions are stronger as square pieces, while others are designed for larger rectangular formats. Each product page will show the standard available sizes for that specific work.
Does the artwork arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Artemax pieces arrive fully finished and ready to hang.
Each artwork is printed on heavyweight matte museum-quality canvas, then stretched, float-framed, and prepared with a wire hanger on the back. Felt pads are added to help protect the wall and allow the piece to sit cleanly in place.
No additional framing or assembly is needed.
Unbox it, hang it, and that’s it.
How long does production take?
Artemax pieces are made to order, with a typical lead time of 2 to 3 weeks, depending on size, frame selection, and production requirements.
Because each piece is printed, stretched, framed, fitted with hanging hardware, and inspected before shipment, timing can vary slightly. Larger works, framed pieces, commercial orders, or oversized requests may require additional production or handling time.
How does shipping work?
Every Artemax piece is produced as a finished float-framed canvas and shipped securely packaged as a complete artwork.
Once production is complete, your piece is carefully packed and shipped to the delivery address provided at checkout. Each artwork arrives with the mounting hardware already installed, including a wire hanger on the back, so it is ready to hang immediately after delivery.
Shipping is always free on stardard sizes.
Larger pieces may require oversized packaging or additional carrier handling, but they still arrive as finished, ready-to-hang framed canvases. For commercial projects, hospitality spaces, multi-piece orders, or oversized custom inquiries, contact Artemax before purchase so production and delivery can be planned properly.
How do I care for the artwork?
Dust the artwork lightly with a feather duster or a soft, dry cloth.
Do not use water, damp cloths, cleaning sprays, glass cleaner, solvents, or abrasive materials on the canvas or frame. Keep the artwork indoors and away from heavy moisture, steam, prolonged direct sunlight, and extreme temperature changes.
A stable interior environment will help preserve the canvas, frame, color, and overall finish over time.
Can I hang Artemax artwork in a bathroom or kitchen?
Use care.
Artemax canvas works are made for indoor display and perform best in stable interior environments.
A hallway, dining room, bedroom, office, lobby, living area, or powder room is usually a better fit than a bathroom with heavy steam or a kitchen wall exposed to heat, grease, or moisture.
If you are considering artwork for a humid, high-traffic, or commercial environment, contact Artemax before ordering. We can help determine whether the piece, size, and placement are appropriate for the space.
What if my artwork arrives damaged?
If your artwork arrives damaged, contact Artemax within 7 days of delivery.
Include your order number and clear photos of the damaged artwork, the outer packaging, the inner packaging, and the shipping label. Please keep the original packaging until the issue has been reviewed.
Once the issue is reviewed, Artemax will work toward the appropriate resolution.
Do you accept returns?
Because Artemax pieces are made to order, artwork is final sale unless it arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Please review your selected artwork, size, frame finish, shipping address, and contact information carefully before placing your order.
If there is an issue with your order when it arrives, contact Artemax within 7 days of delivery so it can be reviewed promptly.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Contact Artemax immediately if you need to cancel or change an order.
Because each piece is made to order, changes may not be possible once production has started. This includes changes to artwork, size, frame finish, shipping address, or cancellation requests.
Once a piece has entered production, the order may no longer be eligible for cancellation or modification.
Do you work with interior designers, architects, developers, or hospitality groups?
Yes. Artemax is built for premium residential and commercial interiors, including homes, offices, restaurants, lobbies, hospitality spaces, and development projects.
For designer-led work, Artemax can review artwork selection, sizing, format, framing, timeline, and placement before production. For larger projects, include wall dimensions, photos, renderings, finish palettes, delivery location, and timeline when reaching out.
The goal is to help the artwork feel intentional within the room, not simply added to it.
Do you offer commissions?
Yes. Artemax accepts select commissions for collectors, businesses, buildings, hospitality spaces, and global clients.
Commissioned work is best suited for spaces that need a strong visual identity, a connection to place, or a piece built around a specific story, object, city, or atmosphere.
To inquire, contact Artemax with the project location, desired dimensions, timeline, budget range, and any relevant visual direction. Photos, mood boards, floor plans, or wall measurements are helpful but not necessary.
Do you create murals or public artwork?
Yes. Murals and public-facing work are a central part of the Artemax vision.
Artemax creates large-scale visual works for walls, buildings, public spaces, commercial interiors, and city-facing environments.
These projects are designed to carry presence, memory, and meaning at a scale people can feel immediately.
For mural or public art inquiries, contact Artemax with the site location, wall dimensions, project goals, timeline, budget range, and any relevant partners or approval requirements.
